Slept at 230 last nite and was supposed to wake up at 645 on order to reach NCSS at 8 am..but i was reallie tired due to the lack of sleep...was awaken by the alarm but i went back to sleep and the next thing i noe, its alreadie 8 am...best!! So i quicky msged marco and told him i will be late...he's a nice guy...he jus said dun worry...haha
I took a bus to queenstown and gavin called me when i was boardin the train...got this ah ma asked me how to get to toa payoh mrt station when i was waitin fer the train..hope she understood wat i said cos its a rather complicated route...need to change at city hall so as to take the train to toa payoh...hee but aniwae, gavin told me my participants are here alr and that we will be playin amazin race..i was stunned la...u are askin a sleep-deprived ger to run ard singapore??? but aniwae, since i am the team facilitator (TF) i cant say no rite?? sighz, still tot it will be jus a get-to-noe my group meetin...veri relac one...hiaz, in the end i got more than wat it asked fer...haha its okie, was great havin gavin in my group cos he noe all the pple in the committee so can get hints here and there...esp from kenny...haha that guy came over to fetch us from geylang east ave 1 to the geylang east home fer the aged...i realised that station no need to complete task..the task is jus to reach there...haha so funny. Kenny jus tok there and then he gave us the next clue...easily man!!
Whao, the race started veri slack, we jus slowly stroll and tok...all the way until we completed xue peng's stop...that ger ar...so ngiao wan a hint still need to drop ten fer her...haha lucky got gavin...oni he dropped...hee thanx dude...but after the additional task, her hint is still so vague...best!! nvm, we are good, managed to get to the next staion, all thanx to kenny...haha
After kenny's station, we were supposed to go to national stadium...then we got up bus 16 and to our horror, there were 2 more teams on it and cos my group was the last group to board the bus, we were nearest the door and could get off the bus the fastest...so i got of the bus and ran all the way to national sports council...where i tot the game master would be...but was cheated...but its okie my group still managed to be the first group to leave the stadium cos we made marco let us do the task first...hee after that we walked back to the bus stop and strategised that if we wan to beat the other 2 teams, we need to hitch a ride...but the rules of the game is that we cannot get into a car or a taxi...so we looked fer a pickup..haha the lady driver was veri friendly...she agreed to it immediately...haha so we got a lift to the PA and from there my group ran to kallang mrt station...it was damn shiok cos my group became veri enthu can we were all prayin that the other 2 teams dun come until we board the train...its was the longest 6 mins wait man!! haha so when the group boarded the train, i called gavin to find out where are they...it so happens that they were walkin toward kallany mrt...phew!! hee but they stupid stupid go and take bus...whao, nothin to say la...train got direct route they dun wan...wan to act smart and take bus...haha so my group no sweat la...can stroll slowly back to NCSS from buona vista mrt...hee still can buy drink...haha
After all the teams arrived, it was jus some speech and admin stuff...left at 530 cos i need to meet my council frens fer dinner...haha never late so din get suaned...finally!! But i was sticky from all the runnin and perspiration...sighz...see, i sacrificed so much fer u guy!! haha
Had dinner at hot stones at boat quay...the food is normal la but the idea of grilling our food on hot stones was good la...quite fun oso...hee realised my grillin skills quite good...hor, darius?? hee...i like the ambience leh...quite nice to jus sit beside the river and eat slowly...the breeze and the lightin...if oni the price is not that steep...then can come more often...haha organise more dinner at boat quay...hee after dinner, we walked to esplanade and went to the chocolate bar where i drank choc until i feel like pukin...serious...i am not kiddin...lucky i shared wif clarence and zh...if not sure cannot finish one...and i jus noe that zh likes choc...big time...haha i got the hint** hee
After drinkin choc, we took a group photo and went home...darius came home wif me cos he wanted to borrow my backpack fer his brother...haha so qiao, both his brother goin overseas and needed the backpack...eh, if u are readin this, i am remindin ya to wash it b4 u return hor...haha
Then, b4 he went home, i saw the flower that gf gave...funny, got mushroom leh...i am puzzled...can anyone tell my wat are 2 stalks of mushroom doin in a bouquet of flowers?? haha okie...that's all fer todae...hee
