**Holland Village on 7th May**

Uploaded this very long ago but din get to publish it until today. Kinda good to "find" blogging material since i haven been blogging ever since internship started. Finally have things to do and it's kinda ironic that i actually went back to work today (it is saturday today) when last week i was practically rotting and doing practically nothing until 530pm. Learning lots of auditing stuff from a great senior who makes an effort to make sure we understand what we are doing. It was tough cos my accounting sucks but getting better with my constant bugging...haha It was also nice to have janice with me cos can chit chat to relax here and there...hehe

ok, let me post some pictures of my previous Ally's day at holland village followed by dinner and drinks at orchard with ally's gang + jz --> He is at Dubai and i am waiting for my present!!!

After walking under the sun and HV shopping centre, we rested at Essential Brew to get a drink and some food to fill our stomachs.

**Sentosa Expediation 2007**

Hy and i went on a Sentosa Expedition trip on may 3rd 2007 in what was initially tot out to be a day when we will "act" as tourists. Well, it was a great success and we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly even though the rain god did not let us off till 3pm. We visited several tourists attractions such as merlion, carlsberg tower, underwater world, dolphin lagoon and songs of the sea. We also tried our hands and legs on the Luge and skyride, not forgettin the cable car which brought us back to harbourfront. Below is a "few" snapshots i want to share with all you readers of my blog =)

This is a picture of me, together with my ticket before we board the monorail into Sentosa. Let the journey begin!

There was a slight drizzle when we reached imbiah station. Behind me is the merlion, a distinct animal which as the head of a lion and the body of a mermaid. This merlion is a building which tourists can enter and go all the way to the top to get a panoramic view of the island. We will go up in later shots.

Due to the rain, we decided to take shelter in "Images of Singapore", which is a showcase of Singapore past, our multi-racial society which was depicted through 4 winds (each wind represents an ethnic race). This is a the first thing we saw when we entered the museum.

The signing of the agreement between Sir Stamford Raffles and the Sultan! It's like i was there to witness it!

I have no idea who this guy is but decided to take a photo with his as momento. Since he dressed so nicely...haha

First time on a rickshaw, with hy as my "driver". It was taken by this ang moh who was also in the museum with us at that time.

For those of you who doesn't know, i stay in Whampoa so i wasted no time in taking this picture with the person whose name is used to name my estate. In fact, after reading his portfolio, it turns out that he was the wealthiest and most influential chinese merchant in those time. Coolness!

Oh, these sea creatures are called sea angels. If u were there to see it move, u have to agree that they do look alot like angels. With the reddish fins flapping up and down...so cute....

I simply love the effects of this photo, even it was taken becos of shaky hands. We took this before the start of the video show inside the merlion.

This is what i was talking about. View from the top of the merlion. Compared to the Carlsberg tower, the view here is not that fantastic if u ask me...

Personally, i think this is a rather good picture of me taken by hy. Rest time at starbucks...also to take the chance to fill our stomachs...

I must blog this photo even though i know hy will kill me. This was what i got in return when i asked her to take another picture of us...

This is a picture of the picture displayed on the screen after we got off our luge. It is damn fun! It would have been more fun if the girls in front of us could move slightly faster. I found it super exciting cos it was free-roll (free rolling down the slope) and for me to find it excitin, it cannot be too adrenline pumping...my weak heart cant take it. I say the luge is fun!

Because the luge has a downward gradient, in order to go back to higher grounds, we need to take the skyride. For the skyride, we basically sit in a metal seat for 2 and have our legs dangling in mid air. Nothing much to see when we were up there except the canopy of trees and more trees.

We had nothing to take except our shoes. We were just above alot alot of trees...as you can see

I know what you all must be thinking...i am such a photo whore right? Hy saw her duck tours colleague so we went to take a look at the place where they park the buses. I won't give up the chance to take picture with the hippo bus right...
