yeah, that's me!! My life has evolved to this stage where goin hawker centre can makeme happie...went to 85 the day b4 and adams yesterdae...the aunite and uncles at adams VERI friendly and funny...
Funny fact:
The uncle from the fruit juice stall popped out of nowhere and grabbed hy's drink sayin it wasn't well-blended...but the thing was hy was praisin the avocado drink while she was drinkin it...hmm, their service is reallie good, i tot they usually heck-care one, unless pple go and complain, so she tan diok la, get a new cup without doin anything...haha tink the avocado drink is quite nice, gonna order it the next time i go adam road...haha
Friendly fact:
Haha, hy is an uncle-killer...the uncle from the seafood stall started chattin with her after he came to deliver jh's ee-mee and he couldn't stop alr...he was still chattin depsite the many trips i made to collect my fried rice from the self-service stall...dialect reallie makes pple feel closer to each other...after tokin, he came back twice to pass us mini sambal-filled "spring roll" and jasmine flavoured gua zi...so super friendly rite...he even told us that he goin on hol next week and that he wun be ard if we come next week...haha then that silly ger even wanted to go and say bye to the uncle then jh and i joked abt him givin her more new yr goodies like loveletters and pineapple tarts...muahaha but the point is - my reciprocal is an uncle-killer man!! heh
It was a good ladies nite...we shld have more of this...ok! Am reallie glad to have u gers in my life and all the time spent jus sittin down and sharin stories...u gers rock!!

Yeah, had our zoo excursion with Sun Dac todae...the weather was GREAT!! Seriously, mr sun came easy on us todae, ms rain even timed herself properly la...oni rained after we got onto the bus and it stopped the moment we reached the home. Hmm, no need to pray oso get such good treatment!! Whao...will post the pictures after prof bai sends it to us...haha
After zoo, it was time fer team bondin...heh. Went to kbox Tampiness and sang fer 5 hrs...my first time there and i have a rather good impression of it :) But i have a totally different impression prof bai la...u see him always sit there quiet quiet but u put him in a kbox room and a new bai emerges...a screamy and hyper bai xin...unexpected ya??
After a fantabulos session of kbox-in, we went to bedok blk 85 to eat...the food there is simply fabulous, wonder wat have i been doin all these past 19 yrs of my life, totally missed out on great food...haha mus create more excuses to go there fer dinner next time, the sting ray there rocks!!haha and its cheap...a big big piece fer oni $12...everybody, go and have group dinners there!! Free advertising fer them...i dun mind, heh i am serious...

Finally done with my comms presentation. Went to sch fer comms makeup lesson on mon and its presentation day...almost died of anxiety while waitin fer my turn...and goodness, i was the 2nd last speaker of the day and it was an excruciating wait la. On one hand, i was worried that there would be duplicate of my topic and scared that i would screw up...whu noes how i can malu myself in class, no, i definitely wun want that...glad everything went smoothly except fer the last part...fumbled a bit but it was funny la...haha and i oni had 2 qns directed to me and both by the same person, hiaz, dunno if i shld be happie or not leh...nobody ask qn like no chance to display my qn-answerin skills, if i had any...
Feel so relieved after the presentation. I tink its like some kinda achievement, considerin the amt of time i spent being nervous and havin butterflies in my stomach...i wun wan a repeat of this, wanna get it done and over with in future...heh
Well, this is a slack yet hectic week fer me, even thou its term break, so many things are scheduled to be done and i have meetin almost everyday of the week...be it sch related or vmd related...and sunday is burnt cos of kot practice...almost half a yr never touch my flute alr, guess the fingerin all gone alr lor, another round of memorising scores and all that jest...when will pure bliss fall on me? A break dedicated to spending time with frens and havin nothin on my mind, been over-taxin my poor brain fer too long...time to get retarded!!

Been a long time since i last blogged...shall blog abt the evenful todae and then give a short recap on wat happened last week la ya...
Had stats mid term test todae and i tell ya, it's a screwed up thing fer me...got tricked, never read properly, use wrong method and everything that could cost me marks, i did it all todae...yvonne is a stupid ger...A+ no more...sighz hiaz let's not talk abt that...
After lunch with xy, walked down the hill with yw and went home la...lucky the bus came soon and i saw sabrina (primary sch fren) abt 3 stops later then toked to her, hmm, a future teacher i see...haha could feel the passion she has fer teachin...good fer her man!! Went to a church weddin at abt 2 with yw...hmm, first time attending a church weddin and first time hear the priest (or wat u call him) say the "do you XXX take YYY as ur wedded wife/husband and swear to love, respect blah blah...for better or worse, for rich or poor, in sickness or in health, till death do us part" its quite an experience to hear it live and not on tv ya...As part of the congregation, we were supposed to sing along but i noe nothin to sing along...but the tune was good thou, rather catchy...but i can jus stand there and count the no of times the word "lord" or "god" was said...dun reallie understand the prayers but i guess i wasn't the oni one...hee
An observation i made while the french?? reverend was addressin us with some quote from somewhere (din managed to catch wat they said was the origin) but the gist of it was the the man was the supposed head of the family and he should take care and love his wife and last but not least, that the woman should submit to him. He went on to elaborate that it is arranged this way by god...no offence to christians readin this post, i jus feel that this idea is rather feudal and jus as conservative as the traditional chinese family even thou christianity gained root in the west. Christianity might well be the pioneers in advocatin that men are superior that women...well i am jus speculating ya..
Went back home after the reception and then went to bugis to meet clare, emma and darius to go fer pk's concert at nafa...guys guys guys...the 3 of them act made me wait half an hr b4 emma appeared...and darius jus had to tell us he went fer facial...goodness, he's tellin a ger whu had never done a single facial he went to do a facial...wat is the world comin to? a world of the metrosexuals?? somebody save me!! had dinner at sketches and then we made our way to NAFA (Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts), went to the wrong one at sophia road so we tried to walk to the correct campus...while we were still tryin to figure out the way, i scrolled down to pk's msg and read out the msg "near guan yin temple and opp sim lim sq", immed, the guys started reprimandin me sayin that i shld have told them earlier cos they noe where is the templ e and sim lim sq...as usual, they blame me!! lose our way-blame me. never buy flowers-blame me. wat to do, they are the tripetide (anti yvonne and suan yvonne force) and thanx to weilin, i was stuck with 3 highly "destructive" guys...hiaz, jus my luck la...haha
In the end we took a cab from waterloo st to NAFA and a few turns at that area costed us $5 bucks...damn ex la...$2 surcharge, i cant believe it lor...i seriously cant!! Well, the play was ok fer a $10 concert...jus that the accoustic was a bit bad...but pk zu ren, u sang reallie reallie well...dare say u were the best cabaret there :) nice dresses u have got here too...haha do u get to keep it?

A short recap on wat happened earlier this week...
14th Feb:
Went to school to do stats assignment, quite touched that xy act came to sch jus to pei me do stats homework after she found out that she got no LTB meetin that day...i was rather pathetic cos i had to go to the lib to borrow the stats testbook and since its a darn course material, i could oni borrow it fer 2 hrs at one go and its irritatin cos i gotta go and return the book and borrow another when the time is about to be up. So troublesome when i have to go from level 5 to the library and back...and i mus finish usin my foolscap that day, had to go ard askin pple fer foolscap to spare, in the end i managed to make my TA, Elgin go to his locker and get foolscap fer me...hee, then i realise i dun need it cos i alr returned the textbook and xy wanted to go home...haha
After that went fer LTB rehearsal cos got LIHK presentation the next dae...rehearsed until 9 plus then went to newton circus fer dinner cos i suddenly got craving fer stingray...hee i noe its weird considerin i dun eat fish in my normal diet but i jus love stingray...heh then i did a veri stupid singing stint which managed to get all of us laughin non stop fer 5 mins...after that it was the yvonne-dropped-the-chicken wing-after-she-said-she-won't act and that was the most hilarious act of the day man...wat a joker i am!!
15th Feb:
LIHK presentation first thing in the mornin so had to reach sch by 745 to help set up the wayang thingy...lucky shermaine called me if not i confirm cannot wake up one lor...so was a lil late...oni reached at 8...had the slackest task of the group, was in charge of the music...hee so veri xin lang...haha tink prof ma veri happie with our perf cos she was smilin non stop durin the show...yeah!!
After LTB class, went down to the home to interact with the beneficiary...it was a great interaction and i drew with anita again...held her hands to write durin my last attachment and again on tues...felt quite bad that we act left her out unknowingly but i was reallie happie to see her smile while she was colourin the zebra...its act so easy to make someone else smile...but equally easy to make someone sad as well...

Haha, love my class man...gonna see them in less than 2 hrs at wein's hse...gonna play lotsa bridge!! and maybe mj if his house has it...but ya, bridge...the last time i played it was during YVIP camp...seemed so long ago man but its barely 2 months ago...haha its reallie GREAT being able to have a "reunion dinner" like this...i wanna thank wein fer graciously openin his doors to us and providin all the food and drinks, a pity i cant stay overnite cos tmr got LTB meetin in sch...but i am not complainin...since i dun hafta go sch todae (chu san of new yr)...okies gotta go and pom pom...if not i will be late...whoo...cant wait fer the fun later :) maybe post some pictures if possible...heh

Can't feel the CNY mood this yr at all...wonder whether its the sch work or something else at work...am i gettin to old to be excited abt CNY animore? Maybe its the lack of new clothes, or rather the non-existent new clothes...maybe maybe...aniwae, since its CNY, i shall take this chance to wish ecerybody a HAPPIE CHI NEW YR!!
Had show-and-tell todae and i couldn't sleep properly the whole of last nite, partly cos i was scared i would oversleep and partly cos of a toopid mosquito ard my bed...irritatin the hell outta me la...gonna terminate it tonite b4 i sleep later...haha now that i tink abt it, it's a bit scary thinkin that show-and-tell is not graded and all of us put in so much effort...my group burnt sat to come up with the props fer show-and-tell after gettin shocked by friday's class...they are reallie too zai alr...kinda presented us with a reality check man!! Well, glad its over alr and hopefully, my group managed to let prof ma notice us...hee
After stats class, went to bugis to meet clarence and june fer lunch cos june is goin to aust to study this sun...zhen hao and weilin came late...haha and clare treated me and june to lunch...thanx dude, my treat on the 19th ya...well, tink my brain was too preoccupied with stuff at the train station, to tink that i alighted at city hall to change train to get to bugis but i act took the escalator back up and boarded the reverse train back to dhoby ghaut...and the best thing was i should have taken the train jus opp when i alighted at city hall...go one big round and wasted so much time waitin fer the trains...hiaz...mental breakdown soon!!
Still, i dun feel chinese new yr-ish...feel like a normal day to me...act less than normal...sianz!!

Todae had been a reallie long day...it started at 730 am as i woke up to prepeare to go sch fer MA test...u will freeze if i tell u how long the test was...it's 2 hrs long fer a 25 mcq test...haha tried my best to do slowly but still finished 1hr 15 mins into the test...haha but i tink jh got it worse cos she finished real early and khoo was pesterin her to hand in and she can go...haha then there was one qn abt variable costin and since i rem we din study that chapter in the book, was tinkin that the qn might be a trick qn so after much deliberation (din wanna malu durin test ya) i asked:
Me: Prof, we din go thru variable costin in class yet rite?
Khoo: We did, rem the diff bet absorption and variable costin? Wat is it?
Me: Ohh...(the ppt slide suddenly dawned on me but i cant reallie rem the whole content of the slide) its the fixed manufac... ...
(Din even finish the line and he started noddin his head profusely...haha but i tot he gave me a rather big clue)
In the end my answer for the qn was "none of the above", hope i am right if not i would feel damn stupid, think so much still got it wrong...Oh and 5 mins b4 time's up, he came over and asked:

Me: (scratchin my head) Er...alrite la...
Hiaz, like how he expect me to reply? Say "prof, ya the paper is easy...next time set a more diff paper can?"...crazy ar...act the paper is not diff la but its oso not easy cos the phrasin is a bit tricky and got alot of calcultations to do etc...but aniwae, its MUCH MUCH betta than FA...I love MA MA MA...at least fer now la...
After MA test, we went on to have MA group meetin...finally decided on the industry to do and managed to delegate work...then i chiong over to SR10 fer LTB...needa prepare fer show-and-tell on tuesdae...it was work mixed with alot of fun in the SR but the ah bui security guard kinda spoilt it when he came over to kb us...cannot stand it so i went over and attitude him...haha sher saw immediately...the toopid sec grd keep askin us y we never sign out at 1 when the bookin expired and keep tellin us its 4 now and blah and blah...i was like, can we tok abt wat to do from now to solve the prob? stop askin us y we never leave the room at 1 and stayed until 4...cant he see that our stuff was all over the place? the guy whu booked the room was willing to swop the room with us so wat more u wan? sighz, inflexible sec grd...the other sec grd all so nice wonder y he like that...hiaz...
Aniwae, ripple effect's efforts finally paid off and we finish the props fer show-and-tell...and the things we do to self-entertain is simply hilarious...the classic one is the duck one la...reallie cannot make it, we shld have more of such things la...great memories man!!
After the projects, its time fer some pure interaction and fun...went to suntec to meet the ct pples...haha clare said its gonna be a mega gatherin, then in the end oni got 6 pple, i went down late at ard 830 after LTB...reallie nice to see them...so long never see geri alr and i am glad i went...was at suntec so we wantedto go esplanade to sit down and drink something but went over to see chun1 dao4 he2 pan4 instead...the bumper car is freakin ex la...3 tokens fer a car and 3 tokens = $7.50..and the best thing was it was playin xmas song at that area...fer goodness, wrong context la...fail comms alr, haha. Took some pictures at the he2 pan4 thingy, will post them later...ok la...that's all, gonna go and change bedsheet alr...new yr is comin ya...but somehow i dun feel the festive season at all...boo!!

Have you even woken up feelin veri sad becos of a bad dream and then heaves a sigh of relief when u realise that it was jus a bad dream? Yes and i am glad it happens this way so that i appreciate things betta and i count my blessings...
But this mornin was a lil different...i woke up tinkin i jus had a bad dream but all it took was 5 sec to put me back to reality...and 2 smses to confirm it. Wat can i say? maybe i shld jus dream on...

Work is pilin up like mad and it doesn't help that i keep hearing relationship problems that i get so estrangled in the whole issue that i am lost in it. Somehow i picture myself in the situation and it saddens me...makes me wonder wat is in stall in a relationship? V dae is comin, no doubt there will be alot of happiness and renewed pledges but who knows what will happen after all the hoo-haa? I reallie dun noe and i dun wish to tink abt it. In this time and age where pple have low tolerance of things that dun go their way, there is so much uncertainty in relationships. I am tired, emotionally and physically...gonna rest to recover...But i still believe in love, or so i tot...
