I am so scared...at the rate i am using my good luck, i am so scared i will run out of it soon...
Went to sch yesterdae to configure my lappie and i met alot of my saviours...jus wanna thank pple like Macrus, Desheng, Keli and a yr 3 ger whom i dunno her name...starts with "C" i guess...Let me recap wat happened when i stepped into Accountancy block Networked Seminar room 1.1. It was a room packed with people and i dunno wat to do except to sign up with the counter. That's when i saw the long list of names ahead of me who are waitin for the cd to configure their com. And then....i saw Ying wen and marcus and the first thing Macrus said was "Come, I help u". *Ding Ding Ding* I am a lucky ger!! Cos i dun need to wait for dunno-how-long to get the cd to configure...ultimate cut queue. Stage 1 cleared.
And so i was happily downloading SP2 when the screen pop-up says "This installation requires you to be on AC power". Bam...best, i din bring the charger for my Acer lappie and one glance across the room dun look too good...only managed to find one guy with a red acer lappie but he oso never bring his adaptor...I was left with no choice but to try my luck in other rooms. That's when i went into the seminar room next door and guess whu i saw...I saw Keli...and he got the exact model as me but the bext thing was he brough his adaptor...hurray!!! So i started jumping and making alot of noise and ade (she uses Acer too!!) saw me...so i gathered i am a lucky ger as i have 2 sources of adaptor jus next door!!! haha. Stage 2 cleared.
So i continued to download SP2 and the configuration needed and the 3rd bombshell came...I am not logged into SMU domain cos i reformatted my com. Then the 3rd lucky star appeared--Desheng. He helped me log into SMU domain without any sweat and hence, Stage 3 cleared to0. even then i could only log into WLan-student, i had prob downloading the eTrust and Virtual Canvas cos my sch acct is not an administrator and the 4th saviour, the girl whom i dunno wat her name is came with a halo and a wand...I was saved a 4th time...and i lived happily ever after with my lappie...i hope. Computer stuff is reallie not my forte huh!!
After the adventures at PC logistics clinic, i moved on to meet the bookfair peeps for dinner and ktv. Had a great nite singing and learning new songs from Meiting...she is reallie a pro cos she can rem almost all the song beginnin while i am the Ms. Chorus. I recomment Marina Kbox next time cos everything there is new and the staff there told us the rooms there all have different designs. Cool! Hope we can have another one next week with more pple.
