Been a happy weekend. Went to watch chingay preview with dk cos got reminded of it due to the diversion of bus routes. It is amazing how we managed to get to the front of people gave up halfway. Haa. Not the best of views but it was enough to make me happy. But then, all the while i was thinkin how to sneak into the viewing gallery cos i see so many empty seats. Dang, dunno the ushers, if only i noe one of them. But i did think of asking those people who left their seats halfway during the show, wonder if i could get in if they gave me their ticket stubs. Just say re-entry?? What about telling them i left my tickets at home and just try my luck? There were empty seats anyway. I even suggested goin to Taka's rooftop and see if there were access. Haa...things i think of when i am desperate. Of course, i did nothing of those i thought of.
Went to KY's place to bai nian in the afternoon. Saw long yu and terrence and finally found the person who msged me during CNY. I have this habit of ignoring unknown numbers when i see it cos it is usually a case of mistaken sms. It is an irresponsible habit i don't care. My logic is, if it is impt, that person will sms or call. Why go and ask for trouble by replyin with a "who are you?" First, if it is really a fren, it means 1 thing, i deleted his/her number. 2nd, it is a waste of time and sms if it is really a wrong number case.
After which, had a great time at Marcus' place for OG gatherin. His mum is a really nice lady. She helped us cut the meat, put it nicely on a big plate, sponsor us with yu sheng, prepare the soup base for us and also gave us ang bao. Haa. She is really nice!!! I know she wun see this, but i still wanna say, Thank You Auntie!!! Guofeng gave us a pleasant surprise when he came down cos he said he was going for chingay. Gillian got a lift to marcus' place with gf's new mitsubishi lancer EVO!!! We all thought he downgraded from Subaru WRX to a Lancer, who knows? He got himself an EVO!! How disgusting!! GF, if u read this, yesh, u are disgusting!!! Haa haa
Played cards - Got pick cards at random, indian poker, poker, reverse poker, 3 cards and loser have to drink weird concoctions of soft drinks with lime, soft drinks with ice cream, soft drinks with tiger beer, tiger beer with ice cream, soft drinks with green tea (eeeeeks!!!) and finally, we betted on the match of tunisia VS nigeria. Marcus., youwei and myself said tunisia will win but they lost on sudden death penalty. Damn! The forfeit was gross, all thanks to janice!! Coke plus mua-chee. Gosh. The mua-chee was soaked in the coke from the 90 min to 120 min PLUS penalty time. The coke was ok, but the mua-chee was... ...
Well, the fun part was how they wanted to make me drink green tea as forfeit cos i totally cant stand green tea. Pardon me, and this is just personal preference (no racism intended), jasmine and yv jus dun go... But i was lucky...They even had to resort to trickery but yah, what is meant to be will be la. The smallest card was suppsed to drink and both times i got 2 clubs, that is like how small alr le can? But i managed to bluff them, with the help of youwei cos he told them he say a picture card. Haa, but i still lost eventually to a 5 clubs. That's why i say what will be will be. I escaped many times alr. Guess, my luck ran out.
