Well, the last time i blogged was 3rd of Jan and i am really surprised to see blogger change so much!! I almost forgot i had a gmail account until just now and luckily my passwords always the same so can log in without trying all sorts of funny username and passwords, something i fear with my dear life...haha
Anyways, chinese new year has come and passed and as with all human, we are all curious by nature and what's a better time than CNY to check if you will have good luck for the new year? I mean, it is human nature to stop in our tracks and start reading the predictions for our own animal sign and i am no exception (even thou i think i am not the superstitious kind). And alas, this year is not a good year for the OX (yeap, i am born in the year of ox and i guess in a few years, i will stop telling people cos age is a sensitive thing for ladies). Everything that can go bad is going to bad and one phrase that i remember clearly from what i read on those mega posters with all the prediction was "you are going to fall sick, someone in your family is going to die, this is not a good year to be romatically involved etc..." not the kind of thing u wanna read abt yourself. I was personally quite spooked by the prediction that someone in my immediate family is goin to die but after thinking for a while, that statement does not make sense as this would mean that the population is going to shrink by 1/12 if all the ox have a family member dying...so yeap, according to what i learnt in AS, this cant be true.
However, i am beginning to believe in bad luck. Since last week, several suay things have happened to me. The last one being told a performance i was supposed to go to was cancelled due to the rain and shit la, being a latecomer, i was still not late enough to save myself from the misery of going nowhere all of a sudden. And if that's not the only suay thing that happened, last week, i alighted from bus early twice and had to walk a long distance. Also, i read the textbook for my marketing quiz but the quiz tested more on the slides. WTH, i read the book full of fluff for an excruciating 3 days during my cny break when i could have been better prepared for the quiz by going thru 6 ppt slides. damn!
okies, enuff of my complaints, gotta go back to reading IE and all the articles written by a sweet smoked pork prof (Bhagwati, go figure...)
The one good thing that happened - I had a good rest on friday! for once this term! yay!
