Got this quote from my fellow intern, cool stuff!
做女人一定要
经得起谎言,
受得起敷衍,
忍得住欺骗,
忘得了诺言,
放下一切.
最后用笑来伪装掉下的眼泪:
宁愿相信世界上有鬼也不要相信男人那张破嘴!

I have always wanted to take a photo at the restaurants I've been to during the trip, finally have the chance. I think we quite atas, cos everytime we go for a meal, we will have a room to ourselves and the decor is always not bad one. The girl to my right is fellow intern from China, Penny and the one behind her is IPO perm, Weiting.
This is a photo of the couch area when we enter the room for people to sit down and chill before eating. To the right of this area is the dining table. I must say something about the toilet at this restaurant cos i was super freaked out by it. The cubicles have NO door, just a semi -transparent piece of cloth to cover the front and they have 2 cubicles facing each other. And that's not all, the cubicles have BIG windows beside it which was WIDE OPEN. Gosh, i had to close it before i could pee. The people here are liberal ya? Still quite weird to see somebody else peeing infront of me when i was peeing too...GOsh..i cant describe how traumatised i was!
We went to a place to bathe like the locals to and i never felt so exposed. Imagine a group of women bathing together with nothing on. It took a while to get used to it for me to blend in but it was an unforgetable experience. This is us after our bath, which comes with a full body scrub and body mud and sauna, all done in our "truest forms" in front of one another. shocking?

I must blog abt how China men love to smoke, in fact, they smoke non-stop. Being here and breathing in all the second hand smoke, i tink i took in more than 1 packet of nicotine liao. Damn bad for lungs. For example, i was at the Client's office checking their purchase orders and GRNs when the guy diagonally me started smoking. After that, another guy smoked in front of my table. My god, my frens know how i dislike people who smoke in front of me but now i got no choice but to suffer. And after that, cos i was sittin near the door, i keep smelling smoke even thou i dun see anyone smoking in the room. Damn sian.
And one thing, their cigarettes can get pretty long, so my misery lasts longer. Or they have a damn strong cigarette smell which like what i described to jiahui, is the kind that can diffuse into my nostrils and it has a very suffocating effect on me. Shit, just writin of it reminds me of the smell...
Sometimes i wonder if they know that smoking can lead to lung cancer and all other weird diseases that can be inflicted on their body...it is like a China men thing. Come to speak of it, i have never seen a woman here smoke.
gotta detox my lungs when i get back...

And one thing, the aircon here works differently, if i want it cool, i have to set the thermostat to "heat" instead of "cool". Maybe they dun understand the meaning of heat and cool ba...no wonder the first night i woke up feeling hot!
Heys, realised i can log into blogger but not blogspot. Sighs, apparently china has blocked blogspot and i cant even access my own blog. Nevertheless, i will still try to blog as much as i can when i am back at the hotel. let me take a photo of the hotel that i am stayin in...and if i am lucky enuff, i will see the nice nice sunset from room i work in. First saw it on tuesday evening but i dun bring my camera and today it rained so no sunset to talk abt. Well well, i have many more days to wait for the sunset...hehe
I am totally enjoying myself here in Harbin, China cos the perks are really good. The auditors eat FOC every meal and we go to restaurants for every meal except lunch today but the food at the noodle shop is tasty! We also get chauffeured to and fro office. We dun skip meals here at all so it is really good welfare here. But i do understand not every audit is like that so i wun be duped into this...hehehe
Forgot to mention this in the previous entry, on the plane to Beijing on monday, i was sittin beside this partner of a small acct firm and guess what? He was the senior of my department's partner way back when Arthur Anderson was still one of the big 5. I was quite shocked when he told me that he knows my dept's partner. But he is a really nice man, 40+ but he looked really youthful and that i still cant believe that he was the senior of my partner. Forgot to ask him how he managed to do that, wasted! Quite cool hor, the things that can happen to me...
Ok, gotta chat and watch tv alr ciaoz

Heys all, i reached Harbin, China safely!!!
This place is super 鸟不生蛋!The flight to Beijing took 6 hours, from Beijing to Harbin took 1h40mins and finally the car ride to the hotel area took 2 hours. It was quite a horrifying experience on the car cos there was this part of the road where the cars moved in 2 opps lanes and the driver of the car i was in overtook the car in front by cutting into the counter-direction lane, all based on luck! If there was a car on the opps lane the moment he cut, we sure buang one! So i was pretty worried for some time but soon the ZzzZzz monster took over after i had my seatbelts on. Hee
Wanted to say smth abt the things i saw. Realised that the trees here are all properly planted, as in can see that they were not left to grow where the wind blows their seeds to but rather aligned in rows and they look pretty neat from far. It is super sparsely populated here to, with large areas of vegetation and the apartments are mostly short compared to Singapore standards. It is not that lok kok here la, at least i have a hotel that looks roughly 3 star with aircon, tv with 71 channels, hot showers and 2 comfy beds of which i am only gonna use one...muahaha SHIOKNESS!
In addition, the food here is really salty but what to do, when in rome, have to do what the romans do. Just drink more water i guess. my frens back home, take care! I will have fun here, no worries!
Good night.
